Much healthier than playing video games at home!” said one Agents of Discovery user. \nAnd here’s the bonus: every Mission your child completes enters them in a prize draw—the more they play\, the better their chances! \nHow to Play:\nDownload the Agents of Discovery app (free!)\nSearch for Missions near you and download them before you go\nHead out and start exploring—no internet or data required! \nWhether you’re hopping on BART\, headed to the beach\, or visiting your local park\, there’s a Mission waiting. It’s a win for physical activity\, a win for learning\, and a win for family bonding. \nSanta Clara County Parks and Recreation Staff say\, “We are excited to be able to allow our visitors a new and different way to engage with and explore our parks using Agents of Discovery. SUMMARY:El Sobrante 2nd Annual Pride Festival Press Release
DESCRIPTION:**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**\n**Contact:**\nClayton Price-Brown\nEl Sobrante Pride Committee\n📧 [elsobrantepride@gmail.com](mailto:elsobrantepride@gmail.com)\n📞 510 620-4481 \n— \n## **Community Holds Onto Pride** \n**El Sobrante\, CA – August 2025** — In a world that sometimes feels divided and uncertain\, the El Sobrante and May Valley communities are coming together once again to celebrate something powerful: *Pride — in ourselves\, in each other\, and in our neighborhoods.* \nOn **Sunday\, September 28\, 2025**\, from **12:00 to 5:00 PM**\, the second annual **El Sobrante Pride Festival** will take place at **La Moine Park (known affectionately as Cheese Park)** in Richmond. It’s more than a celebration — it’s a testament to the spirit of a community that refuses to let go of connection\, compassion\, or joy. \nEl Sobrante is a vibrant\, diverse\, and resilient place. We are Black\, Latino\, Asian\, Indigenous\, white\, LGBTQIA+\, straight\, immigrant\, multigenerational\, disabled\, neurodivergent — and we show up for each other. In our little corner of Contra Costa County\, help is often just a shout away\, and friendly conversations still happen across fences and front porches. \nWhat makes us unique is not just our diversity\, but our deep respect for it. We don’t always agree\, and that’s okay — we allow room for discourse\, curiosity\, and growth. We hold tight to the values that anchor us: community\, kindness\, and the radical idea that *everyone* belongs. \n**El Sobrante Pride 2025** will feature: \n* 🎶 Live entertainment from local performers and DJs\n* 🏳️‍🌈 Dozens of vendors\, community groups\, and local nonprofits\n* 🍔 Family-friendly activities and food trucks\n* 🗣️ Community speakers who reflect the heart of our neighborhoods\n* 🤝 Representation from local leaders\, public safety officials\, and youth voices \nLast year’s inaugural event was a beautiful reminder that Pride isn’t just about visibility — it’s about *community resilience*. This year\, we’re doubling down on that promise: that *we are still here*\, still proud\, and still celebrating. \nAs organizers\, neighbors\, and friends\, we invite everyone to join us — whether you live in El Sobrante or just wish you did. Bring your lawn chair\, your dancing shoes\, and your open heart. Because around here\, *community is everything*\, and *Pride is forever*. \n— \n**Event Info:**\n**El Sobrante Pride 2025**\n📅 **Sunday\, September 28**\n🕛 **12:00 PM – 5:00 PM**\n📍 **La Moine (Cheese) Park\, Morningside Drive\, Richmond\, CA**\n🅿️ **Parking available at Valley View School\, 3416 Maywood Dr\, El Sobrante (11 AM – 5 PM).**\n💵 **We are asking for a small donation to offset the cost for the lot.**
