The event is divided into segments. Most attendees will be participating in a flash dance activity titled after the name of the event\, “We Got The Power” starting at 12:00pm. Individuals interested in taking part in the flash dance\, please RSVP and a rehearsal schedule will be sent to you. It’s more than a celebration — it’s a testament to the spirit of a community that refuses to let go of connection\, compassion\, or joy. \nEl Sobrante is a vibrant\, diverse\, and resilient place. We are Black\, Latino\, Asian\, Indigenous\, white\, LGBTQIA+\, straight\, immigrant\, multigenerational\, disabled\, neurodivergent — and we show up for each other. In our little corner of Contra Costa County\, help is often just a shout away\, and friendly conversations still happen across fences and front porches. \nWhat makes us unique is not just our diversity\, but our deep respect for it.
