DESCRIPTION:Twenty-five of the world’s top strongmen will face off in an epic battle of strength when the SBD World’s Strongest Man comes back to Sacramento\, California for the first time since 2022 from May 15-18\, 2025. \nMarking the event’s third edition in Sacramento and in partnership with Visit Sacramento\, the 48th edition of the SBD World’s Strongest Man offers reserved seating around center stage for the four-day\, action-packed competition. The quest for the title of SBD World’s Strongest Man (WSM) begins with qualifying rounds on Thursday and Friday\, with final competitions on Saturday and Sunday\, when a champion will be crowned. \nFor nearly half a century\, competitors have been pushed to their physical and mental limits throughout a powerful series of events. Past events have included the Car Walk\, a fan favorite event where athletes will race two-by-two\, strapping a vintage VW bug to their shoulders before racing down a 25-meter course\, along with the Keg Toss\, Axe Hold\, Atlas Stones and many more. \nAthletes slated to compete include reigning WSM champion and three-time champion Tom Stoltman (GBR)\, Tom’s older brother and two–time European World’s Strongest Man Luke Stoltman (GBR)\, 2024 second and third place winners Mitchell Hooper (CAN) and former WWE wrestler Evan “T-Rex Singleton (USA)\, two-time Australia’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Williams (AUS)\, among several others. \nTickets are available for purchase online only at TheWorldsStrongestMan.com. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students under 25. Free admission for children under 13. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards humanitarian aid in Ukraine and restoring our historic venue. See you there!

DESCRIPTION:The world’s largest sports competition has been made mini! The world’s smallest sports scenes can be spotted using thousands of LEGO® bricks and hundreds of LEGO® minifigures at Merlin Entertainments’ LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers and LEGO® Discovery Centers around the globe. From archery to wrestling and everything in between\, every sport has been built in LEGO® bricks by our team of talented Master Model Builders to celebrate! \nThe local attraction\, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area\, contributed to the global effort by creating Beach Volleyball and Marathon Swimming scene outs of LEGO bricks which took Master Model Builders Alison and CJ around a total of 3 hours to make. Families can be inspired by the sports scene and spot it in the attraction’s MINILAND\, a replica of the Bay Area cityscape made up of more than a million LEGO bricks\, now through August 11th. \nCheck the website for hours and ticket prices.
