We’ve built lifelong friendships and met some of the most inspiring dancers in the world. \nThe social dancing.\nThe workshops.\nThe performances.\nThe unity. \nThese experiences have brought joy\, passion\, and connection to so many lives — including ours. \nNone of it would have been possible without this beautiful dance we call salsa. Its rhythm brings people together. Its energy creates bonds. Its presence connects hearts across cultures and countries. \nNow\, it’s our turn to bring that same magic back home — to the Bay Area — and celebrate 16 incredible years of community\, music\, and love for this dance. \n✨ Let’s unite again on the dance floor.\n✨ Let’s celebrate the journey.\n✨ Let’s make March unforgettable. \nWe want to thank all of our coordinators and volunteers for their hard work\, and all of you for supporting our event. Let’s enjoy this weekend as much as we can and continue to support our amazing salsa community here in the Bay Area.\n“Life\, my friends\, is the art of getting together.” Therefore\, it is our honor and pleasure to organize another great salsa event here in the San Francisco Bay Area. \nWith love and gratitude\,\nYour SF Festival Team 💛🔥\nJohn Narvaez & Elizabeth Rojas \nThis Event Runs From Mar 26\, 2026\, 8:00pm to Mar 29\, 2026\, 3:00am Timezone: Eastern Time (US & Canada)

SUMMARY:Local Author Read Aloud: Bubbles
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, March 29th\, from 11am-12pm\, for a fun children’s read-aloud of Bubbles by local author André Morrow! All are welcome to join us in reading and celebrating this musical tale. We’ll be featuring live children’s songs\, snacks\, and an engaging storytime. “Bubbles” is a whimsical story that teaches young readers to appreciate all the wonderful little things in life\, like playing with pets and family\, blowing bubbles\, and enjoying the outdoors. The story highlights gratitude in a playful and educational way! \nRead more about the precious story of how Bubbles came to be\, quoted directly from the author: \n ” Bubbles is a song\, video and children’s book. The “Bubbles” project began during a visit with some of my grandkids\, Hadley Dickson\, James Dickson\, and Danica Dickson. Most of our visits include music time and taking a whack at writing songs together. On this particular visit\, we’d just finished an enthusiastic adventure making bubbles in the backyard. Afterward\, during music time\, I asked them what they wanted to write about and one of them yelled out “Bubbles”. And the song was born. Months later\, my music partner David J. Michalak and I began producing the song to add to our collection of music. My cousins\, Sophia Bass and Catherine Bass\, sisters\, both wonderful artists\, agreed to assist us with the project. Catherine is an amazing painter and Sophia’s voice is incomparable. They are the daughters of my cousin Reggie Bass who was my great friend and music partner of my youth. So together we all created the Bubbles book\, song\, and video. We hope you enjoy it! The song can be found on all major music platforms using the artist’s name Morrow Michalak. The video can be found at morrowmichalak.com/bubbles. Thanks to Barb Schacht\, who heard an early rendition of the song and suggested it would make a terrific kid’s book. ” \nWishing you Butterflies\, Sunshine\, and Rainbows\, André (Papi) Morrow
