Habitot’s hands-on “mini-museum” is back on the road with our first outdoor Mobile Museum of the Spring ’26 season, including exhibits celebrating play and learning for kids and families. Our exhibits and activities are best for kids 0-8, and siblings and adults are encouraged to play, too!
Our hands-on play & learn exhibits include:

*Magnetic Ball Run

*Boat Making & Tinkering
*Baby Ball Pit
This event will be held at the outdoor courtyard of Arroyo Viejo Recreation Center in East Oakland. Parking is available in the parking lot just to the right of the yellow-gated entrance. The event space is the first building on the right after the parking lot.
Habitot Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization serving a wide range of families! Thanks to Alameda County First 5, this event is FREE to the public, guaranteeing access for families across socioeconomic backgrounds.
Each registration admits a SINGLE FAMILY GROUP with any combination of children and adults in the same household. Please register for just ONE time slot (1 hour and fifteen minutes) to allow as many families as possible to attend our event.
