    Movement and play are an important part of growing into a reader, so the San Francisco Public Library partnered with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department to bring reading and stories to parks around San Francisco. Every first Tuesday of the month, find the Green Mobile at Golden Gate Park Koret Playground, 295 Bowling Green Drive.

     Make Believe: The World of Glen Keane Opens

    Walt Disney Family Museum

    This new exhibition will highlight the work of renowned Disney animator Glen Keane, who is credited with the creation of unforgettable characters like Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel in Tangled and Pocahontas. In addition to his work with Walt Disney Studios, the exhibition will also feature some of Glen Keane’s other projects including a recent collaboration with retired NBA player Kobe Bryant entitled Dear Basketball. The exhibition will be open to the public on Thursday, March 8 and will run through Monday, September 3, 2018.
