San Francisco Youth Ballet’s Nutcracker has previously been nominated for the Annual Goldstar National Nutcracker Award

This magical, full-length version of The Nutcracker features professional guest artists and the youth talent from the San Francisco Youth Ballet Academy. The 2-hour production (including a 15-minute intermission) is geared toward families and is a perfect opportunity to introduce young children to this holiday ballet tradition. As always, there will be photo opportunities with various characters after each performance.

The dance tells the story of young Clara, whose gift of a toy nutcracker soldier comes to life. Together, they experience a grand adventure, from an epic battle with the Mouse King to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s magical Kingdom of Sweets.

Sugar Plum VIP seating includes a unique pre-show meet & greet with the Sugar Plum Fairy (30 minutes before ShowTime), and a special gift for children under 10.
