We’d love to invite your families to a free Community Book Swap this Saturday, May 16th, from 10am–12pm at Marina Green Triangle (200 Marina Blvd., San Francisco)!
Bring your old books and swap them for something new to read — it’s that simple. All ages welcome, and it’s completely free.
The Book Swap is part of the “Let’s Lift Up Learning” Bookmobile tour organized by Josh Newman, candidate for California State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Josh is a former California State Senator, U.S. Army veteran, and chair of the Senate Education Committee who has made literacy and reading access a centerpiece of his campaign for the state’s top education job.
The Bookmobile has already made stops in Orange County, San Diego, Modesto, Fresno, and Berkeley — and we’re excited to be in San Francisco this weekend.
We’d be grateful if you’d share this event with your members and families. Feel free to forward this email, post it to your group, or share the flyer (attached).
We hope to see you and your families at Marina Green on Saturday!
