Last weekend, a Sprouts Farmers Market box arrived at our door to announce Fall’s arrival.
It was full of pumpkin treats!
We decided to make it a pumpkin-themed weekend to try out these pumpkin goodies, and it’s now officially feeling like fall in our house.
Thanks to Sprouts, here’s what our weekend menu looked like:
Pumpkin-snaps Snack
We couldn’t wait to try the Pumpkin Snaps and opened them first. They were delicious! We generally try to avoid too many sweets in our house, but we were glad these weren’t too sugary. They turned out to be a great toddler treat. Ever since then our 2-year-old has been asking for “pumpkin crackers,” and I’ve been using them as a reward for good behavior!
Pumpkin Cookie Coffee Break
I really enjoyed a couple Sprouts Pumpkin Iced Cookies with my afternoon coffee. Those cookies are dangerously good – so good that I made myself give some to our neighbor, so I wouldn’t eat them all!
Ravioli with Pumpkin Sauce Dinner
For dinner one night, we made butternut squash ravioli with the Sprouts pumpkin pasta sauce. We added some spinach to the sauce to get our greens in. Yum! The sauce was good, but a bit on the sweet side for us. It has honey and agave in it- probably why my toddler loved it so much!
“Paleo” Pumpkin Pie Dessert
The can of Sprouts pumpkin and pumpkin spice inspired us to make our favorite pumpkin pie recipe. It’s actually a “paleo” pumpkin pie based on this recipe.
I love this recipe cause it’s high in protein and low in sugar, my toddler likes it, and it’s a good way to get eggs and nuts into my boy.
Cider with Pumpkin Pizelle Late Night Snack
For cozy after dinner special-ness to celebrate the beginning of fall, I made warm spiced apple cider to have with the pumpkin pizelles.
What a delicious weekend! Thank you, Sprouts Farmers Market, for bringing our family into the Fall pumpkin spirit!
I’m excited to check out the Sprouts store in-person, especially to check out their baby food offerings!
