Join Sisterhood Gardens for our 10th Anniversary Party and Annual Fundraiser on Saturday, July 25, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at 116 Arch Street in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood.
For a decade, Sisterhood Gardens has been a neighborhood space for food, flowers, pollinators, learning, gathering, wellness, and community care. Our garden is home to one of the most diverse locally bred dahlia collections in San Francisco, drawing visitors from across the city and beyond to experience its extraordinary blooms.
This joyful community celebration will include free garden activities, music, snacks, a plant and seed swap, local makers, and opportunities to support the garden. Guests can enjoy the garden, connect with neighbors, and help keep this beloved green space blooming and rooted in community.
Event highlights include:
Plant & Seed Swap: Free with registration. Plant contributions are welcome but not required. Please bring only healthy, pest-free, and disease-free plants or seeds.
Local Makers: Shop local garden goods and handmade items, including ceramics from Horse Feathers Pottery and more. A portion of sales will benefit the garden.
Community Meal Ticket: Enjoy a catered community lunch in the garden, with vegetarian options available. Meal tickets are sold separately from sponsorship and donation levels. Garden beverages will be available for purchase on site, and guests are encouraged to bring a filled water bottle. Meal tickets are not tax-deductible.
Bouquet Sponsorships: Supporters may sponsor a bouquet featuring Sisterhood Gardens’ dahlias, seasonal flowers, and garden-grown greenery. The Bloom Builder Bouquet Bar Sponsor level begins at a $35+ donation.
Garden Sponsorships and Dedications: Guests may also make deeper gifts, including Garden Guardian Sponsor gifts of $75+, 10th Anniversary Circle gifts of $150+, and limited Name a Dahlia Dedication gifts of $600+ to name one of three unique dahlias developed on site.
Sisterhood Gardens needs to raise at least $10,000 to sustain basic operations and keep the garden welcoming, resilient, and cared for over the next year. All proceeds support operating costs and help keep this community garden blooming for the next ten years.
