Easter is April 1! Dress your kids’ in their Sunday best and head to one of these fun events happening in the area. Keep checking back. Commemorate the holiday by visiting the Easter Bunny with special events on March 11 and March 18 for children with special needs and pet photos on March 25.

Kids of all ages can meet and greet the Easter Bunny while the grown-ups can choose from a variety of digital photo packages to capture the moment. Digital photo packages start at $25. Kids receive a free gift just for stopping by!

March 23

Easter Cupcake Decorating

Hillsdale Mall, San Mateo

4:00 – 5:00 PM

Bring kids under 12 to decorate their very own cupcake. Supplies will be provided. Free. 

March 24

Easter Cre-EGG-tive Craft Day

Hillsdale Mall, San Mateo

1:00 – 3:00 PM

Decorate and create a one-of-a-kind wooden egg ornament (while supplies last). DIY and take it home! Supplies will be provided. Appropriate for kids under 12. Free.

South San Francisco Easter Egg Hunt:  

Orange Memorial Park, Picnic Shelter

9:00 AM

Children 8 years old and younger can hunt for hundreds of eggs in age-specified hunting zones. Free.

San Bruno Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt

City Park

9:00 AM (activities begin at 10:00, egg hunts at 11:00)  

Begin with an All You Can Eat pancake breakfast from 9-11AM followed by egg hunts for ages 1-8 years old, divided by age group. $6/adult, $4/12 years old and under.

March 25

Easter Eggstravaganza

Stanford Shopping Center

1:00 – 3:00 PM 

Enjoy a center-wide egg hunt, petting zoo, and a chance to see your favorite bunny!

Gamble Garden Easter Egg Hunt

Palo Alto

9:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Children will enjoy a petting zoo, arts and crafts and light refreshments in addition to the egg hunt. Reserve 9:30, 11:00, or 12:30 time slot. Sells out quickly!

March 31

Easter Bunny Arrives by Helicopter

Hiller Aviation Museum, San Carlos

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

The Easter Bunny arrives by helicopter at 11:00 AM. Entertain the kids with a bouncy house, face painting and model train display. Price of admission.

Bunnies and Bonnets Parade

Campbell

12:00 PM

Grab your seat along E. Campbell Ave. to watch the parade. Free.

Big Bunny 5K:  

Cupertino Civic Center

9:30 AM

Parents can run with strollers and children 7+ years old may run in the 5K. Kids Fun Race begins before the 5K at 9:30 AM for children 7 years old and under. 

Atherton Easter Egg Hunt

Children 10 years old and under can hunt for thousands of treat-filled eggs and meet the Easter Bunny! Free.

Belmont Egg Adventure Hunt

For ages 3-10, bring your Easter basket and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Free.

Half Moon Bay Egg Hunt

Egg hunts will be divided into the following age groups 1-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-10. Parents will only be allowed to help in the egg hunt for age group 1-3. No dogs allowed. Free.

Los Altos Spring Egg Hunt

Egg hunt for ages 10 and under and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Egg hunts begin at 10:00 AM. Free.

Menlo Park Egg Hunts

Burgess Park and Kelly Park

10:00 AM -12:00 PM

Egg hunts and fun activities for children 8 and under. Free.

San Mateo Eggstravaganza

Central Park,

9:00 AM- 1:00 PM

Join the family fun including a pancake breakfast, Easter egg hunts, parade, and entertainment.  Mostly free. Tickets required for breakfast and egg hunt for ages 4-9 years old.

Burlingame Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt:  At the Burlingame Lions Hall. Pancake breakfast begins at 8:00 AM, followed by egg hunts by age group. Toddler egg hunt at 9:00 AM. Stick around for music and face painting! Free egg hunts and face painting.
