Polk Street Spring Wine Walk, Polk Street from Sutter to Filbert St: Stroll along Polk St and pop into participating merchants to sample wine samples and special treats. 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Tickets purchased online or “day of” at 1475 Polk St.

Bring Your Own Big Wheel Race: In Potrero Hill at 20th and Vermont Streets, for older kids and kids at heart. Ride your Big Wheel down the curviest street in San Francisco (curvier than Lombard!). The first heat is for children 12 and under. 3:00 PM. Free.

Earth Day SF Festival, Civic Center: The festival will feature top notch entertainment, dynamic panel discussions, and speakers at the ‘Eco Teach In’ section, organic celebrity chef showcase, organic and vegan food courts, wine and beer gardens, clean energy zone,cutting edge earth friendly products, an electric vehicle showcase, kids zone and much more. 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Opening Day on the Bay, Chrissy Field to Pier 39: The decorated boat parade celebrates the official beginning of the 2017 boating season on San Francisco Bay. Free to watch from shore or purchase tickets for a lunch cruise.

April 26
Mandaue Children’s Choir Performance, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1755 Clay St: This internationally acclaimed choir from Cebu, Philippines brings a delightful evening of Filipino culture, sound and family-friendly entertainment. All proceeds will support the choir’s US Tour. 7:00-9:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30PM. Adults, $18, Children $14, or Family package (2 adults, 2 children), $50.
April 30

Glen Park Festival, Diamond Street: This neighborhood tradition boasts live music, great food and raffle prizes, all in the name of raising money for local children’s programs. 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Donations welcome.
