Sunday Streets, Sunset/ Golden Gate Park: The Sunday Streets Sunset/Golden Gate Park is the longest, and perhaps most scenic route, traveling through Golden Gate Park and along the Great Highway. Juneteenth Festival, Fillmore St between Post and Turk Streets: For 69 years, San Francisco has celebrated the abolition of slavery with this festival, including a parade at 11:00 AM. Four stages will showcase live music and kids will enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, bouncy houses, face painting and carnival rides. 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Free.

New Balance Fitness Challenge, Crocker Amazon Soccer Fields: Bring children ages 9-13 years old to this free community event meant to fuel the next generation’s passion for movement and the pursuit of lifelong health, well-being and success. Professional athletes will lead the events, and all participants will receive a t-shirt and challenge journal, encouraging them to track their fitness activities, goals and challenges, learn about the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices and providing journal engagement opportunities. Jungshin Fitness Day, Midtown Terrace: Come for all or part of this full-day event where you and your kids take classes in Jungshin. Workout by yourself in the morning (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM), while the kids are entertained by Dancing Jammies, make crafts, listen to music, stories, and participate in creative play. Stern Grove Festival, Stern Grove Park: The 80th season of this free concert opens with Kool and the Gang performing.
