Soak up the ambiance of the occasion and marvel at traditional Chinese lion and folk dance performances at 11:00 and 1:30. Go on a Zodiac Scavenger Hunt through the Zoo to learn fun facts about the animals found on the Chinese calendar. Stop by Wolf Canyon to see our wolves to celebrate the Year of the Dog! 

Lunar New Year Celebration in Courthouse Square

2200 Broadway Street, Redwood City

Come to the 8th annual Lunar New Year Celebration in Redwood City featuring lion dancers, red panda acrobats, martial artists, taiko drummers, and other live performances for this celebration. 

San Mateo County History Museum Lunar New Year Celebration

2200 Broadway Street, Redwood City

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The San Mateo County History Museum will join Redwood City in celebrating its 8th Annual Lunar New Year with free admission, craft stations based on each symbol on the Chinese zodiac and performances on Courthouse Square.
