Enjoy sleeping under the stars with panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, the East Bay Hills, and San Bruno Mountain. The new campgrounds are the first step in a multi-phase plan to enhance Candlestick Point.

Here’s more information from the Parks & Rec website:

Located on the western shoreline of the San Francisco Bay, Candlestick Point SRA provides a variety of recreational opportunities from windsurfing, fishing, bird watching and walking to simply relaxing. The trails, group picnic sites, fishing piers and now new camping sites offer a get-away of open space and outdoor activities at this urban park.

Each one of the campsites can accommodate up to four visitors. No vehicles are allowed onsite. The campground is only accessible via the San Francisco Bay Trail (hike/bike) and the San Francisco Bay Water Trail (boat) – View Map. Camping fees are $35 per night. Visitors are advised to arrive before dark, as lighting is non-existent after dark.
