Are you looking for something fun to kick off your holiday? My family and I were eager to get into the Christmas Spirit this year, so I couldn’t think of a better way than including my family of elves in a fun festive Storytime! Stories at the library are a staple, and what better way to feel festive than to create our own story time? Sing fun holiday songs with a scarf and listen to our favorite holiday stories.

    We all love Santa!

Better yet why not invite Mrs. Claus? We all love Santa, but I’d love to send some love to the real chief in charge; we all know who helps keep everything under control at the North Pole! But the fun won’t stop there, and we have some amazing sponsors who will help make this event even brighter! Bay Area Events by Nat is decorating a holiday balloon backdrop while Alyx Jones Photography will take your photos with Mrs. Claus, Swings and Wings will provide crafts, sensory play, Doodle Cakes, and Beach’s SF is providing some tasty goodies. You can warm up with a tasty beverage (hot cocoa/coffee/tea) from Highwire Coffee Roasters!

You can also start your holiday shopping sustainably and browse Mommy’s Trading Post for pre-loved baby and kids’ clothes and gear!

If you are as excited as we are, meet us for this Holiday Extravaganza on December 3rd from 10 AM to 12 PM at Mommy’s Trading Post, 1428 Park St, Alameda.

Tickets are $12 per child, and each ticket includes one digital photo, one craft, one jolly treat, and a cozy drink. Your ticket will enable a special-needs child to enjoy this memorable experience!
