Friday Faves & Finds (4.20.18)

0

week in reviewWe made it to another Friday! This weekend my parents are in town babysitting so my husband and I can go to a fancy lunch and wine pairing at Arista Winery with our friends. I can’t remember the last time we had a whole day away from the kids, so we’re both looking forward to the break and indulging in top-notch food and wine. In the busy blur that was this past week, here are some of my favorite things and new finds!

In the spirit of today being 4/20, here’s an article on how to talk to your children about marijuana

A few months ago, I used the Google Arts & Culture app to find my doppelganger in famous paintings. . . . It did not go well (see picture below), but it was very fun! Here’s how you can do it, too.

The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak is hands down one of my kids (ages 3 and 4) favorite books.

Are you using VSCO? I’m researching an article on all the things I’ve missed while I’ve been busying being a mom, and this app was a new one to me.

If you’re into podcasts, City Moms Blog Network has a great one called Just Add Sprinkles

In case you missed it. . .

Sarah cuts to the chase and shares the one thing your baby needs to sleep through the night

Erika talks toddler fashion and the benefits of letting her daughter take the lead on her outfits of the day.

And up in SF . . .

Exciting pregnancy news and why it’s actually kind of terrifying; favorite things to do in spring; how to make the most of Saturday’s Junior League of San Francisco Touch a Truck event; how to find time to make yourself a priority; a vehicle-themed toddler books list.
