If you couldn’t attend our BLOOM event on Sunday, April 22, we’re excited to share another opportunity to meet with local experts, learn about services, and connect with other parents! Blossom, a Palo Alto-based organization that provides resources and support for pregnancy, birth, and parenthood, is hosting its 13th annual Birth & Family Fair on May 6!

The event is free and open to all. Hundreds of Bay Area families are expected to attend to participate in engaging workshops and connect with the best local pregnancy, birth and parenting resources and services. There will be a baby and toddler play area to keep the kids entertained, delicious food from local vendors, and you’ll have the chance to enter to WIN thousands of dollars in prizes!

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Christine H. Morton, Ph.D., a distinguished author, sociologist, and expert in women’s reproductive experiences and maternal quality improvement. She will give a presentation on “California’s Maternal Care – Steps Towards a Positive Birth Experience.” Christine will be recognized at the Birth & Family Fair with Blossom’s Mother’s Day Achievement award for the work she does for all families in California through the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC).
