It’s the first weekend in May! This comic sums up how I feel about that. On Thursday, my husband and I saw The Color Purple at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco, and it was a really wonderful show. I’ve always loved the book and was excited to see how it would come to life on the stage. This weekend, I’m helping to organize my kids’ preschool silent auction fundraiser, so I’m both looking forward to the party/ will be happy when it’s over. At least there will be margaritas there in honor of the Cinco de Mayo theme!
Live a margarita-inspired life on Cinco de Mayo with these ideas.
This coming week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Here’s what to do for your kids’ teachers.
On May 2, I officially became 35 1/2 years old. As my good friend told me when I hit my mid-thirties, “hydrate, squats, and eye cream.” That might not make sense to you yet, but it will when you hit 35+! I’ve started taking way better care of my skin, thanks to True Botanicals.
