It is literally every girl’s dream come true to see all of her favorite princesses dancing on ice! And the performances are truly stunning. Lots of twirling, lifts, fireworks and even aerial acrobatics that were breath-taking. They even gave a shout out to some of my own old-school favorites, such as Snow White, Fantasia, and the Little Mermaid. The princesses reminded us all of their aspiring virtues of bravery, kindness, and perseverance.

The Emotions Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust from Inside Out were also prominent throughout the first half, piecing together the various other themes while cheering on hockey player Riley. There was definitely an attitude of Girl Power which I loved, and an overall encouraging and positive message that we can do anything we put our minds to.

My two kids were so excited to just keep swimming with Dory and Nemo, and we even got to dance along with Woody, Buzz Light Year and the rest of the Toy Story gang in a celebration of true friendship. The timeliness of this event in coordination with our kids’ obsession with the Olympic figure skating was not missed; they were very appreciative of all the lifts and spins.

And of course what Disney event would be complete without a mini-musical performance with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf! They sang and danced to all of the hits while snow fell from the sky, and the grand finale was a very exciting and fantastic end to a really fun night.

The Follow Your Heart show will be playing at the SAP arena in San Jose February 21st-25th and again in Oakland, CA February 28th-March 4th.
