Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, a delicious dinner, live and silent auctions, and a performance by dance band Notorious. Your contributions help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Maggie’s Story: 26 years old, Mississippi, Ewing sarcoma

“In 2010, college student Maggie was found to suffer from a type of bone cancer called Ewing sarcoma. Maggie was already familiar with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® because she had planned on doing a summer study program there. Instead, she became a patient. Maggie’s treatment at St. Jude included chemotherapy and surgery.

Maggie is grateful for her care team at St. Jude. And as strange as it may sound, she has happy memories of the hospital. “St. Jude is not a place of mourning,” Maggie said. “It’s a happy, positive place full of people all going through the same thing. And every doctor, every nurse, every person behind a desk is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.”

Post-treatment, Maggie got involved with St. Jude on a professional basis; she worked in the hematology research lab while finishing college. Maggie, who was recently married, is currently in medical school, pursuing her dream to become a doctor. She continues to visit St. Jude for regular checkups.”

Make your “night out” count!
