Happy Friday, Mamas, this weekend is all about you! My request for Mother’s Day this year was a fun day with my two guys, filled with things I love to do around town. My husband is planning the day’s events, so I am looking forward to relaxing and going along for the ride. I hope you have something special planned, even if that means doing nothing! Take advantage of this opportunity to have a day that revolves around you, and maybe do some light reading while you’re at it.

A special day with family is a perfect Mother’s Day present, but the premiere of Little Women on PBS makes Sunday that much sweeter.
The Grand Opening of Stonemill Matcha is this Saturday, and I’m dying to check it out! Tartine Bakery recently announced (on Instagram) that they’re making Stonemill Matcha Canelé, so I might have to check that out too.
Shelling fresh peas is a labor of love, a worthy springtime endeavor. I’m in the mood for this Spring Pasta Carbonara, so I think I’ll try to rope my family into helping me with some pea prep this weekend…

I just got these sneakers and they are so, so comfortable! The light grey color feels perfect for spring and summer, and the arch support is no joke. I’ve already walked miles in these and have no complaints.
