Happy Passover and Happy Easter! We’re hosting Easter this year for fourteen adults and ten kids, so it’s been a busy week getting ready for that on top of the week’s usual routine and attending a fun private shopping party Thursday night at Ambiance hosted by San Francisco Moms Blog!

For Easter, we’re actually cheating a little bit and celebrating on Saturday instead of Sunday so that we have a day to recover from hosting a big party before we launch into a hectic week. But who am I kidding? We’ll probably be assembling furniture on Sunday instead of relaxing, which leads me to my first favorite find for the week. . .

I’m so over struggling to change the sheets on my daughter’s junior loft bed. It’s not as high as a typical loft, but it’s still a pain, so I went on Wayfair.com and ordered a new bed frame and a desk! Her room makeover is shaping up to be super girly, and we both can’t wait to put it together.

Sunday is also April Fool’s Day, and I highly recommend signing someone up for Cat Facts! Your target will get a random fact about cats texted to them anonymously on the frequency you choose, each time from a different number so they can’t block it. Innocent and hilarious!

My husband and I caught up on all the past seasons of The Americans over the last few months, and we’re so excited to watch the first episode of the final season. It aired on Wednesday, but we’re watching it tonight. No spoilers!

We’re taking a ride up to Healdsburg today to pick up some wine from our favorite winery, Kokomo. Did you know that there’s a Wine Country Moms Blog, too? It’s full of great resources for your trips up north with the little ones.

The warm weather put me in the grilling mood this week. How have I not been using Lemon & Pepper seasoning on my chicken until now?! Thin-sliced chicken cutlets doused in olive oil, some rice wine vinegar, and the lemon & pepper seasoning created such a quick and flavorful marinade. Cavenders’s All Purpose Greek Seasoning is another winner.
