Last weekend, my best friend from home visited, and I think we talked for four days straight. We haven’t spent this much quality time together since high school, and it was more fun than I could have imagined.

Now, it’s back to reality, and for the first time in a long time, we don’t have plans this weekend. We may head down to Monterey Bay Aquarium because, I’m embarrassed to say, after living here for over ten years,  and we’ve never been!

My friend drove across the country from New Jersey to come visit me, and she’s now making her way down to SoCal. It made me realize how much of this state I still need to explore, so I started reading up on the best national parks in California.

Middle Children Unite

There are three siblings in my family but no middle children! My older brothers are identical twins, so none of us fell into the middle child category. What about your in your family? I found this article about the middle child going extinct really interesting.

GLOW Is Back!

Have you watched GLOW on Netflix? I didn’t think I would enjoy a show set in the ’80s about the making of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, but it is so good! Interesting storylines, likable and complex characters, fun costumes, and great ’80s music. Definitely worth a watch.
